I recently moved my studio to a sailboat, located in a beautiful sheltered bay on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach and we recently launched my largest painted canvas to date to promote it. Little did I know that my little studio on the water (see below) is now dubbed the Love Boat !

I just finished the image below which is being used for a new Visitors Guide to Balboa Peninsula's and Balboa Island's best buys. The main distribution points for the brochure are the Balboa Ferry plus it will be available at participating merchants, local hotels and events.

The painting tells the story of the race. Hundreds of yachts starting from Newport Harbor, a beautiful sunset as we sail into the evening, the god of wind that we hope will blow at night, dawn the next day and the finish under spinnacker in Ensenada.
